Welcome to the Cariboo Railway, one of only a small handful of garden railroads on the Canadian prairie.
Started in spring 2006, our 10 x 25 foot garden railway is based on the Cariboo region in south-central British Columbia during the gold rush of 1858 to 1865. We've got a mountain with a waterfall running to a small lake; "forests"; and many varieties of plants - both perennials and annuals - in the valley/meadow, as well as the future site of the fictional town of Grizzly Gulch. Running on approx 80 feet of track, our G-Scale railway is designed to operate outdoors all year-round.
